Construction
Amaize Air V-bank filters use a bio-based composite media combined with the latest in nanofiber technology. A total of eight minipleat packs (4V filter) are positioned in V configurations in a rigid frame, maximizing the amount of usable filtration area. This design distributes airflow across a substantially larger media surface, reducing velocity through the media and minimizing resistance. The optimized construction delivers the strength and stability required for demanding commercial HVAC applications while helping maximize the bio-based content of the finished filter.
Efficiency
Available in efficiency levels from MERV 11A through MERV 16A, Amaize Air V-bank filters are built to meet the demanding indoor air-quality requirements of commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, data centers, educational facilities, power-generation facilities, and other high-airflow environments. The nanofiber composite media provides strong capture of fine airborne particles while maintaining stable mechanical efficiency throughout the filter’s service life. High media area and low pressure drop
The V-bank configuration incorporates multiple minipleated filter packs within a compact footprint, providing substantially more filtration surface area than conventional panel or box-filter designs. This expanded media area allows the filter to process high volumes of air while maintaining exceptionally low pressure drop. Lower airflow resistance can reduce the workload placed on HVAC fans, support improved system airflow, and help lower energy consumption over the operating life of the filter.
Extended service life
In addition to reducing pressure drop, the expanded filtration area provides greater capacity for captured particulate. Distributing dust across more media helps slow the rate of pressure-drop increase, extending the filter’s usable service life and reducing the frequency of filter changes.
